Post-construction cleaning in Hollywood

Hollywood is a renovation market with infill on top of it. Beachfront condo buildings updating units and common areas, mixed-use projects going up around Young Circle and along the downtown blocks, and a large stock of older single-family and small multifamily being rehabbed.

Most of that work happens in buildings where people are still living, in structures old enough that there is no freight elevator and sometimes no elevator at all.

What gets built in Hollywood

  • Beachfront and near-beach condominium renovation, units and common areas
  • Mixed-use and residential infill around Young Circle and downtown Hollywood
  • Older single-family and duplex rehabilitation across the established neighborhoods
  • Small multifamily buildings under interior renovation
  • Storefront and small commercial build-outs along the downtown corridors

What changes how we scope it

Everything moves by stair
In a 1960s walk-up there is no freight elevator and no service corridor. Equipment gets sized to what can be carried, and debris comes down the same way it went up. We scope that honestly instead of pricing it like a building with a hoist.
Residents are on the other side of the wall
Unit-by-unit renovation in an occupied building means the corridor outside the work is somebody's front door. Corridors, stairs, and lobbies get cleaned at the end of every shift, and we can run that as a recurring scope for the length of the job.
Salt air on near-beach work
Ocean-facing glass, railings, and balcony surfaces pick up salt film during construction. It comes off as part of the final clean on the exposed elevations where we can reach them from a balcony or terrace.
